Throne Media Inc. is a full-scale entertainment based media outlet providing celebrity interviews, original productions, commercial production, video productions, music videos, band/artist promotions and more. We focus on everything entertainment!

Join our team as an intern and get the chance to work directly with major bands, celebrities and attend major events like movie premieres, award shows, red carpet events, concerts etc…and get the chance to work on some pretty amazing projects with some pretty awesome people.

LETTER FROM THE CEO

Dear Throne Media Inc. Internship Candidate:

Thank you for inquiring about the internship program with Throne Media Inc. and Thronebuzz. We are always on the look out for bright, creative students/individuals to participate in our internship program. Our internships are designed to offer students/individuals an opportunity to gain insight into the entertainment industry. Interns obtain hands‐on experience by working in jobs related to their career fields and by interacting with professionals in on‐the‐job situations.

Our internships are available to experienced individuals and college students. We offer hands‐on opportunities in various departments of the company, and will consider applicants who are interested or majoring in a field that is relevant to our listings such as video production, public relations, music business and entertainment etc. The internships are available throughout the year and we work with the individual/student to determine when they are available to participate in various projects.

Although internships are unpaid, Throne Media Inc. rewards interns by regularly providing them with special exciting experiences, exclusive opportunities and VIP passes to concerts, nightclubs, special events and more.

THRONE MEDIA INC. INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
AND DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTIONS

The following is a list of the unpaid, for-credit-only, and/or commission based internship opportunities available (subject to change):

 

 

BUSINESS AND LEGAL AFFAIRS:

Ever want to wear a suit and go to meetings? (…suit optional) Does the idea of being a business person in the entertainment industry make you smile with ambition? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department supports the company by structuring and negotiating a variety of agreements, (with particular emphasis on sponsorships, contests and promotions), investments, and litigation. This is a commission paid position.
 

COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLICITY:

Ever want to be the person that calls a press release? Think publicity is cool and paparazzi are lame? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department interacts with all the Throne departments, serves as the media center for each department and acts as the liaison between the press and Throne.
 

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT:

Ever watch something on TV and thin to yourself, “wow, this sucks. I can come up with something so much better? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department is responsible for creating original productions and content for Throne. This department meets with producers, writers and directors from inside and outside the company who come up with new ideas for shows, minis, ideas etc.
 

CREATIVE SERVICES:

Ever been told that your graphics are totally epic? Ever imagine seeing them on a large scale? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department includes; layout artists, animation directors, producers and productions assistants to develop cutting edge computer animations.
  • Develops the on-screen creative feel of each video project/episode/interview, using images and graphics/on-air graphics (Motion Graphics)
    to produce a high quality brand.
  • Develops the graphics/images for web and print materials. Provides design, print and video production concepts for a diverse range of client projects.
  • This department works to meet project needs to ensure that the work is true to the cutting-edge creative tone that people expect from Throne Media.
 

COORDINATOR:

Ever thought you’d be a good Aril Gold type, without the anger? Want to coordinate which celebs will be interviewed? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This group coordinates the musical and celebrity talent for interviews, special guests and more.
 

INTERNATIONAL AFFAIRS:

Ever been amazed at how fast thing spread now-a-days? Want to spread it even bigger while talking with a fake accent? (Ello!…Just kidding) Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department continues to develop the brand abroad. Includes: marketing, research, production, press, promotion and sales.
 

INFORMATION SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY:

Ever look at code and actually understand it…maybe even enjoy it? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department supports web programming, web development and coding.
 

MODELS:

Ever think that you would be a great model? Do you have a signature Derek Zoolander look? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department is composed of both female and male models that can bring a new spicy look to Throne. Models work on projects that vary from print and video to live events and promotions.
 

ARTIST RELATIONS:

Ever come across something incredible, weather it be a song, artist, video, company etc… and think to yourself, “This is amazing, this needs to be seen!” Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department seeks out new artists, bands, companies or individuals that are amazing at what they do. They determines which artists will be accepted for further review.
 

ON-CAMERA TALENT:

Ever think you’d be a great show host? Are you great on-camera? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department is composed of Throne’s on-camera personalities. Actors, show hosts, interviewers and more.
 

PLANNING, DESIGN AND CONCEPTS:

Ever look at a movie or TV show set and think, “That looks so lame, I could make that look sick?” Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department manages the look and feel of Throne sets through design and construction.
 

PRODUCTION:

Ever wanted to direct, film, edit, shoot, or produce something magnificent? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department develops and produces series/projects/interviews/minis in the studio and on location, giving special consideration to content, style, location and talent issues, scripts and packaging. Areas include producing: news, interviews, promos, live, home video, creative, comedy, skits, off-air and concert. This is a major department in Throne Media. Positions in this department include but are not limited to: Videographer, Editor, Photographer, Lighting, Sound etc.
 

PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT:

Ever feel the urge to organize everything in sight? Is paperwork your ‘thing’? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department oversees the business and financial aspects of a Throne production. Writing budgets, tracking costs, hiring crews, overseeing shoots, processing invoices, obtaining guest releases and premise permits, processing timesheets, and scheduling edits are all parts of production management’s role.
 

PUBLIC AFFAIRS:

Ever been called a tree-hugger? Do you love community service? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department’s gaols are to provide meaningful, pro-social initiatives, using the reach and power of Throne Media to create awareness and motivate action for current issues affecting society
 

RESEARCH:

Ever spent more that an hour on Wikipedia or looking things up for fun…not just facebooking? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department uses focus groups, surveys and other tools to provide qualitative and quantitative support in order to develop an understanding of Throne Media’s target audience.
 

SALES AND ADVERTISING:

Ever thought you could sell raid to a bug or ice to an Eskimo? Do you like the feel of crisp new dollar bills? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department generates a revenue for Throne Media by selling things like; Commercial Production, Video Production, Music Video Production, Photography, Band/Artist Management, Throne Merch, Advertising and more. This is a commission paid position.
 

SECURITY:

Ever been mistaken for a bouncer at a club? Think you’d look ‘M.I.B.’ with an ear piece? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department manages security operations at Throne Media sets, and locations. We are tasked with production security management for Throne Media including onsite management for large-scale events and an advisory role for smaller productions and serial content. Security may also escort employees and special guests during special events/projects.
 

SPECIAL EVENTS:

Ever thrown an epic party and loved doing it? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department handles small and large scale private events like parties, dinners, and conferences.
 

TALENT AND CASTING:

Ever thought you’d be a great casting director? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department organizes auditions and sources out on-camera productions, minis, promos, movies, and specials.
 

WARDROBE, MAKE-UP AND HAIR:

Ever been amazing at make-up, wardrobe and hair on a day that is not Halloween? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department supports the studio production teams in styling in house talent, guests, and/or on-camera hosts – always on the cutting edge of fashion and trends. This department includes make-up artists and hair for talent and hosts.
 

WEB/DIGITAL MULTIMEDIA:

Ever build a website that looks so damn cool? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department creates the most compelling, innovative experience on the web. This group also creates communication tools and online community experiences that visitors can use to interact with one another and Throne.
 

WRITING/BLOGGING:

Ever wrote something that captured an audience? Do you love writing about celebs, movies, music and more? Well, maybe this is the department for you.

  • This department creates exciting content for the Throne readers. This department consists of writers and blogger that breathe life into the Thronebuzz.com website.

Coordinators – MUST have experience in public relations or working with high profile artists.
On-Camera Talent – MUST have experience on-camera (or really blow us away) with video reel or links.

To be accepted as part of the Throne Team you MUST be professional, MUST work great with a team.
