Dear Ronnie,
I’ve been listening to the new record non-stop since you gave it to me in New York last week. Its the best stuff you’ve ever written. My question to you is this: I know you typically don’t like outside influences on the music you write but when it came to a legend like John Feldmann, you jumped at the chance to try something new. And I read that you guys wrote upwards of 60 songs together just in a few short sittings. What was different about writing music with John? Was it easier, better, or just a good kind of different? And do you plan on working with him in the future on further records?
